//3877 was tasked with the re-design of the exterior and public space of the TownePlace Suites prototype. The work started with a re-design of the building shape, looking at ways to re-organize the blocking and stacking of the building. //3877 adapted the building configuration to give the façade a current and modern identity. The room configurations were modernized slightly allowing for a better use of the space. In addition, we created a new room type that allows a suite to re-configure into two single rooms. Lastly the public space was configured to create an open and inviting place for guests to relax and enjoy breakfast or do some work in a comfortable atmosphere. The lobby area is more open and connected from the front to the back of the building and ties the exercise room directly to the public space.
